THE CAMP - VALEDICTORY FUNCTION

    On 09/02/2024. The valedictory Function of the skill development training camp was organised in a grand manner around 5.30pm in our college ground. The function was honoured by Dr. R. Dhanalakshmi, principal of Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education. Memento presentation by Mrs. K.Sujavathi, Asst. Professor in Performing Arts, Welcome address by Mrs. T. Uma mam, Felicitation address by Dr. P. Swamydas. Camp report delivered by Mrs. S. Sofia, physical directress. And the camp experiences are shared by house captains. The camp fire was started by the chief guest followed by house captains. Then the cultural programmes given by student teachers. Our student teacher gave a vote of thanks, followed by paying respect to our nation with national anthem. The day ended in the very grand manner. 

FOURTH DAY OF THE CAMP

    09 February 2024. Was the final day of the camp was organised by Violet house members. The day began with "ALl FAITH PRAYER". We sang  all religious songs. We also understand the values and morals of all religions through this.

The second session,Guest lecture by Mr. Aavudaiyappan, explained about the camping procedure and he taught us camp fire songs. It was fun filled and enthusiastic session. We really enjoyed this session

After the lunch, conducted a session on topic " FIRST AID TRAINING". The guest lecture of this event was DR.Pavanasa Kumar, Chief Civil Surgeon, Government Hospital, Tiruchendur. He gave a great speech also taught the importance of the first aid through various examples. It was very useful to the stude

THIRD DAY OF THE CAMP

    08 February 2024.This day was started with a mass yoga practice session by Mrs. S.Sofia, physical directress. She explained about Surya namaskar and it's benefits. This helped the students to start a day with positivity.

The importance of road safety is imparted in the minds of the  students teachers with a awareness on titled " Traffic Rules and Regulations" headed by Thiru. Kavin Raj, RTO, Tiruchendur.

The next session was continued with the topic " preparation of useful products from low cost material". Mr. S.Mano Prakash, Asst. Professor in Performing Arts. He demonstrated to make candles. 

The final session of the day. A debate was conducted on the topic "தற்போதைய சூழலில் சுற்றுப்புற சூழல் மேம்படுத்தக்கூடிய வழிமுறைகளை" பின்பற்றபடுகிறதா? இல்லையா? Dr. T. Uma Asst. Professor in Biological Science Education has been invited as a judge for the debate. The participants clearly expressed their valued points and the judge gave enlighten views to the audience and comment on improvement in the environmental system. These session organised and concluded by the Pink house members.

SECOND DAY OF THE CAMP

    07/02/2024.The day 2 programme was started by conducting warm up and excercise by Mrs. Sofia, physical directress.

    Later the day 2 morning session started with welcome address by our principal Dr. P. Swamydas. As a part of the event and a drive to enduring community service, we worked with the theme "Let us make a good community". We visited Ganthipuram village. It was a wonderful experience.

 In the post lunch session has been conducted on the topic " practicing Karnatic Music" by Mrs.K.Sujavathi, Asst.Professor in performing Arts.

 

    This session followed by a programme on "Fire Safety and Rescue Demonstration" conducted by a team of fire safety officers from Tiruchendur station. Thiru. Raja Moorthi, station officer. After giving detailed explanation they demonstrated about the precautionary and safety measures. The vote of thanks given by Red House members.

    Then the students were given a session " Clean and Green" the cleaning of the campus. The camp cordinator Mrs. S.Sofia, physical directress gave some instructions for following days.

FIRST DAY OF THE CAMP

    06/02/2024.The first day of the camp is organised by blue house members. The guest of honour was Dr. S. Ganesh,Asst.professor in physical education,Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education, Tiruchendur. He delivered a wonderful speech on the topic "Enhancing Leadership Quality" by abbrevating the word leadership
